Good movie, but....

Every year I would get so excited whenever Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer came on. It was like THEE symbol that Christmas was almost here. And every year, as I watched this show, I would get more and more disturbed at how much of a jerk Santa was. AND all of those other reindeer! It was just so disgusting how they treated Rudolph when his nose first started beeping and glowing. No Rudolph, you can not play in any reindeer games because you look weird and sound weird, etc... And Santa! He had a real opportunity to get his crew in order and to teach them to be kind to each other but no, he just went right along with it. Until...the foggy Christmas. Then all of a sudden, everyone wants to be Rudolph's friend...Users! ! Did the writer of this story intend for it to seem like Santa was just a distracted unfeeling little man? And I won't even go into the whole Island of Misfit Toys....I just can't deal with it right now.... I did really love the Norelco electric razor commercials though - how it would just zip around in the snow like a sled, shaving a little pathway.
